The important point to state at this moment is that I didn’t stay at the Batzenhausl hotel. I was moved to the Alpenpark Resort hotel because Hotel Batzenhausl closed early for the season so was not available for me. The hotel owners kindly arranged for me to stay at a different, more highly rated, hotel and Iwas most grateful for the switch.
The Alpenpark Resort hotel is magnificent and there was nothing to dislike

The parking is a little bit far from the hotel but still not that far, 5 mins walk

Location is perfect for skiing and visiting the village.
The room was rather basic with old furniture. The draw of the table wouldn't even stay shut and kept opening at its own will, the sink had a crack in it. The shower didn't even have any shower gel/shampoo.
