Amazing apartment in La Clusaz. The covered terrace right after the living in front of the mountains was great to have breakfast or dinner even when it was raining.

We loved that the chalet had everything you needed from cutlery to tvs ..had private balcony facing the mountains and 10 min walk to ski lift and free buses that took you to neighbouring ski villages.

The location of this chalet is ideal - close enough to the town centre for shopping, etc., but also ideal for walking from the door each day, including using the cable-cars and chair-lifts. We parked the car when we arrived and didn't need to use it all week.
The chalet has a quaint "olde worlde" charm that must be unique - indeed, it was a privilege to stay in a traditional chalet that is over 200 years old. The kitchen/dining/lounge area was very spacious and was superbly equipped, and there are 2 terraces/balconies, each with fantastic views, that were a delight to use. The dresssing room (off the bedroom) had all the storage space we could wish for. The owner, Daniel, was onhand to help with any queries.
Do not be put off at all by the proximity of the woodyard - it certainly did not intrude on the peace and quiet of Le Chalet 1791.
We will certainly stay here again if when we return to this area.
No dislikes at all. Everything was superb.
