Everything was brilliant - the heating system worked really well, the beds were really comfy, but, one small niggle about the woodburner, unfortunately...
The woodburner was a bit smoky - not sure, but I think the chimney needs a cowl on it. I have a woodburner myself, so I'm proficient in lighting, managing and maintaining woodburners.

Absolutely loved the feel of this property. Old world charm with modern comforts.
It was secluded and quiet - no road noise whatsoever, just the occasional cow calling in the distance - a good night’s sleep ensured.
The gardens were enchanting and a recipe for total relaxation.
Thoroughly enjoyed, and would highly recommend.
The configuration of bedrooms 2 & 3 was a surprise.
To reach the end bedroom you needed to walk through one the other bedrooms, perhaps an issue regarding privacy for some.
