This old stone house, typical Tuscany, which covers approximately 110 m2, was restored in 2009 and can accommodate up to 6 people, it is a very quiet place, ideal for meeting at home, with family or friends .
You will be sheltered from prying eyes in the terrace at roof level and enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the Tuscan countryside choosing to do nothing on the deck chairs or enjoy a barbecue with Chianina meat typical of Tuscany.
The house has two terraces, one on the 1st floor facing the village on the west side, the other, at roof level, which looks to the east, with a beautiful view of the village, the surrounding countryside, the town of Volterra to the far away, the town of Lajatico where our famous tenor Andrea Bocelli was born, a place where you can sunbathe and spend pleasant summer evenings. It is equipped with chairs, deck chairs, table, parasol, barbecue.
On the second floor are the two large bedrooms, a bedroom with a double bed and on request a baby bed and a bedroom with a double bed + bunk beds, a bathroom with also a shower, a bathtub, a bidet and a washing machine -laundry.
On the first floor there is the living room with sofa and satellite TV, a kitchen with oven, hob and vacuum cleaner, fridge, dishwasher, fireplace, equipped with the necessary crockery, a large furnished living room with table with 8 places to sit and dine.
About 700 meters from the house are located the two public swimming pools, one for adults and one for children, look at the photos! You can walk around and enjoy a nice walk or go by car and park freely among the olive trees in front of the entrance.
100 meters from the house are the main services: bank, post office, doctor's office, pharmacy, café, food, typical restaurants and a pizzeria at very affordable prices.
Fresh bread and croissants? The bakery is 10 minutes away (on foot of course!)
The village of Chianni is located in the heart of Tuscany, in an excellent position for easy access to major art cities: one hour drive to visit Florence and Siena, thirty minutes to Volterra, fifty minutes to Livorno, Lucca, San Gimignano and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and in little more than an hour you can reach the area of Chianti Classico. Spa 7 km away.
A hundred yards from home you will find all the major services, bank, ATM, post office, medical clinic, pharmacy, bars, grocer's, butcher's, typicals restaurants and pizzerias at moderate prices.

We stayed two weeks in the house and are really satisfied to the accomodation and atmosphare in Chianni. The accomodation is big with great facilities. We were cooking, washing the clothes and enjoying landscape in roof terrace. We rent a car for a few days in Pontedera and some day also rent ebike in Chianni. We have everything what we need in Chianni, for example great restaurants, Café and fresh pasta shop.

We had a very nice stay in Chianni, which is a charming and very dynamic village.
Carlo and Ramona welcomed us very well, they really listen to us and are very friendly.
The accommodation is clean, spacious, and well equipped.

Das Haus ist grosszügig, gut ausgestattet in toller Lage mit wunderschönem Blick von der Terasse. Geschäfte, Restaurants usw ein paar Minuten zu Fuß.
Die Vermieter sund sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Es hat uns nichts gefehlt!

Belle maison agréable à vivre, très bien équipée (lave-linge, lave-vaiselle,…), conforme à la description. Maison propre et confortable. Quelle bonheur de prendre l'apéritif le soir sur la terrasse en hauteur, avec une vue magnifique sur la campagne toscane ! Elle est située au centre de Chianni, où sont facilement accessibles à pied plusieurs magasins d'alimentation, bars, Poste, pharmacie, parc de jeux pour les enfants,… Il y fait bon vivre. Idéalement placée pour visiter Pise, Volterra, Lucca, San Gimignano, Certaldo, Florence, Sienne. Les propriétaires Carlo et Ramona sont très sympathiques et très accueillants. Quelle gentillesse ! Des produits locaux nous attendaient à notre arrivée. Carlo, qui parle très bien le français (ce qui était important pour nous car nous ne parlions pas du tout italien), nous a expliqué lors de notre arrivée les lieux à visiter ainsi que les itinéraires à emprunter. Il nous à laisser à disposition des brochures touristiques et des cartes. Tout pour nous faciliter notre séjour. Pas d'emplacement privé pour le stationnement du véhicule mais possible le long de la route un peu plus bas. Charme, qui fait partie de l'ambiance toscane, des cloches de l'église de Chianni, auxquelles on s'habitue finalement rapidement. Escaliers de la maison larges mais assez pentus, qui pourraient poser problème seulement à des personnes âgées ou handicapées. Je recommande vraiment cette location pour les familles et je n'hésiterai pas à la conseiller à mes amis.
