About this house rental
Old newly restored building on private land, 4/6 people. On the ground floor room of 40 m2 including kitchen, dining area and living room with toilet / sink. Upstairs 2 bedrooms with 1 bed 160 and 2 beds of 100/110 cm, bathroom and separate toilet. There is also a large terrace surrounded by grass and a parking lot.
The cottage is equipped with: oven, microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, washer dryer, vacuum cleaner, wood-burning fireplace, TV with DVD / Blue Ray player, radio CD player, living room garden with umbrella, barbecue, deck chairs.
Underfloor heating on 2 levels is provided by a geothermal heat pump.
Possibility of sleeping 2 additional people (over 4) in the sofa very comfortable (extra 40 € / week). Bed linen and towels are provided on arrival.
Internet access and telephone included (fixed and mobile phones France, excluding special numbers)
Cleaning service possible (50 €)
The building is entirely independent on a plot of 450 m2 with private entrance, parking possible 2 cars, metal gate lockable. Large sunny terrace all day.
Weekly rental only, from Saturday 3 pm to Saturday 10 am Please indicate the estimated time of arrival.
Due to the doubling in one year of the tourist tax and in order not to penalize our guests, we decided to voluntarily decommission our lodging of 5 to 4 stars. It remains very comfortable. The city tax will be charged by Abritel, (€ 1.50 per night and per person over 18 years (€ 3 for 5 stars!)). The cottage is non-smoking.
New classification by the Ministry of Tourism: 4 stars

Third visit to this beautiful property. About 15 minutes from St Mere Eglise and 10 minutes from Utah beach. Very peaceful location and ideal for relaxing away from the crowds. Plenty of WW2 museums and/or other places of interest to explore close by.
The property owners, Catherine and Jean, are very helpful hosts and available if needed.
Another wonderful stay.

An idyllic gite in tranquil surroundings in which to 'switch-off' and relax. We received a warm welcome from our hosts Catherine (who spoke perfect English)and Jean. The gite has all mod cons equipped with towels and bedding AND the bedding and towels are changed weekly. We wanted for nothing. Cleaning products were also supplied.

We hebben twee heerlijke weken gehad in The Bakery. Heel erg goed verzorgd en we zijn heel vriendelijke door Jean en Catherine ontvangen. Hele fijne rustige omgeving en ligt goed centraal tussen locaties die je in Normandië zou willen of kunnen bezoeken. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.
Het huis biedt alle comfort wat je nodig hebt.
