The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. There is a main living room that is beautiful and a wonderful place for us to hang out. Lovely walk along the river and around town, very peaceful and beautiful town.

In a very quiet village, it seems to be the only accommodation that"s open, we are lucky to have found it! There was free parking in front of the place.

Location was nice, room was also nice. Staff were also welcoming, and helpfully advised booking a restaurant as they're fairly limited even in June. I'd definitely stay again.
Free parking is true, but it's some distance from the residence - especially the official car park. To be fair I was told it was OK to park by the river, but that didn't look comfortable with a series of no parking signs or private parking so I didn't. It may well have been OK. Still a bit of a trek unless you go through the river gate which wouldn't be obvious. Check in was limited to 17:00-20:00 which shouldn't be a problem, but we'd travelled 415 miles and anything could happen.
