Wir wurden sehr freundlich von den Besitzern begrüßt. Morgens wurde uns das Frühstück im Zimmer serviert. Es gibt eine einfach ausgestattete Küchenzeile und einen kleinen Kühlschrank in einem separaten kleinen Raum. Die Unterkunft liegt in der Nähe der Innenstadt, die gut zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Für einen kurzen Stadtetrip ist es gut geeignet
Gewöhnungsbedürftig sind das Badezimmer und die separate Toilette. Sie sind über den Hausflur erreichbar. Da man aber außer den Besitzern, die in der oberen Etage wohnen, die Einzigen im Haus ist, war das OK für ein paar Tage Das Badezimmer ist leider gleichzeitig ein Durchgangsraum für die Besitzer in den Garten um ihre Hühner zu füttern. Es besteht aber nicht die Gefahr, dass sie durch das Bad laufen, wenn man es benutzt.

A great and varied breakfast each morning. It’s ideally situated a 5/10 minute walk from the railway station through residential streets with a small park. The other side of the station is the city centre with, shops, restaurants and other cultural sites.
Roadworks meant we had a slight detour to get to the city centre. Plus cyclists are everywhere, coming at you from left, right and behind, even on the pavement you’re not safe from these people. You need your head on a swivel. But that’s the same anywhere you go in the Netherlands.
