Beautiful views, and short walk down into the town.

There is a fantastic view, of course, and a great rocky beach nearby. But besides we also liked the room: quite big, super clean, with lots of light and simple, but new and stylish furniture, the AC, the fan, the coffee machine and minibar - all worked as it has to. And the people are really nice and helpful: whatever we needed, they were there for us. Grazie mille!
It is a small thing and just needs some planning: as there is no breakfast option, and no breakfast places really close, you need to think about it in advance.

It was a unique experience to stay at Il Ciottolo. It definitely isn’t your typical standardised boring hotel!

We had a room with a view ...
... and a small balcony over a railway line overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
The air-conditioner was okay.
Room was very clean. No carpets on the floor.
Walking from the hotel along the coast to Recco town center was lovely.
What we didn't like?
The trains passing under the balcony.
When you arrive in the room, you will find your breakfast in a cardboard box on the table. It resembles a United-Nations Emergency Package with lots of plastic.
Bathroom a bit old. No holder for the toilet paper.
Too expensive.
