Castello di Gabbiano was one of the most wonderful place to stay. The staff were fantastic in welcoming you and helping with ideas for sight seeing. The room and facilities were beyond our expectation. We always looked forward to returning 'home' each afternoon and spending time relaxing by the pool or inside the lounge arra5. I hope we can return one day.

VIEW. Pool, Breakfast, facilities, atmosphere. I gasped when I woke up and walked out of the main entrance to find the most breath-taking view. You can't beat the beauty of Tuscan countryside. You can find this view all around the property including from the pool. The pool itself is fantastic with a self-service bar. The breakfast is incredibly, fresh with a variety. The on-site restaurant is also a must-try.
The lack of TV in the room was disappointing considering the price. There was a mini fridge in the room but it basically didn't work, the temperature must have been about 15 degrees and couldn't keep anything cool, including some dairy stuff which was a big problem. It's completely unstaffed after 6pm, so had to take care of everything before then if we needed anything.

The hotel is located the vineyards of Tuscany and has a large garden with beautiful views.
nobody stays at the castle after 6 pm, so you won't be able to find anyone if you need emergency assistance. We requested a reservation at the hotel restaurant for our first night, but no one informed us that the restaurant was 500 meters away from the hotel.
