Warm welcome on arrival. Good sized bedroom and stylish bathroom with whirlpool bath. Swimming-pool in the old cellars very atmospheric. Superb breakfast.
Unfortunately the jacuzzi end of swimming-pool not working on my visit, which was a great disappointment. Found bed (two singles together) uneven, hard and uncomfortable. TV placed on desk means no space for writing.

Pool was warm and clean. No problems there.
The sauna was off when I wanted to use it and took 15mins to warm up.
The decor in the rooms was very stylish and the grounds were very beautiful and great for having a peaceful walk in the surrounding nature.
Would consider staying again, subject to the points below being addressed.
Nobody at reception when we arrived in the mid-evening. Somebody came however after calling on the phone in reception within a minute.
My wife and I were only issued with one large towel for the two of us. Since we only discovered this after dinner and again nobody was in reception, we waited until the morning to request more towels. Even then, only one face towel and one more large towel and one towel for the pool were issued. We were two people!
As a vegan, this is the first time I have ever been told at a hotel (I travel a lot) that there was no vegan-appropriate milk. Very disappointing, since I like to have cereal in the morning. There was also no chopped fruit selection.
The walls in the bedrooms had mould developing in places. This could potentially become a health hazard if this is not dealt with.
