The location in Barbizon is brilliant. The restaurant is wonderful offering an excellent menu and superb service. We enjoyed our meals there.
James the Front Desk Receptionist Associate did an excellent job in assisting us with the need to coordinate courier services. He is a positive can-do person who was very helpful.

It’s a very lovely place to stay. The town is beautiful, and the house is beautiful. The host is very friendly and gentle, support us to change to a more convenient room because we took large luggage.

The room and the hotel are cute and definitely in the best location!
Some of the staff are absolutely lovely! The woman who checked me in and another one working at the restaurant were so friendly and helpful!
However a few points when staying here.
The room does not get cleaned. Your bed gets made and the trash gets taken out, but you keep dirty towels for a week unless you ask and the floor does not get clean! This is important when a place is so close to nature because there were bugs in my room. I don't mind that much, but if you don't clean properly, you're going to have small bugs and spiders... which is what I had in my room. Also my shower didnt work (but i never said anything... So this one is on me).
Lastly and most importantly, the refusal to give me an invoice because I booked on booking. The guy who I checked out with was not particularly friendly, but also stated it's "impossible"... Like bro it's a hotel. You can make an invoice. I have not had this problem anywhere else... And it's required for a lot of companies.
For location, parking, and a very short stay - I recommend
For business trip (to avoid staying in the city which is what I like on my business trips) - absolutely not. Dirty, unhelpful checkout, and no invoice for company.
There are many other nice places to stay in Barbizon!
