Exceptionally helpful staff. Room was a decent size and good bathroom. Very close to town centre. They do have private parking but this was full during my stay. There is on street parking which is not very expensive and free on Sundays and public holidays. They don't have a restaurant but can provide an evening meal. It is basically a ready meal prepared for you. It was fine and modestly priced. Continental breakfast was perfectly adequate.
Walking up 4 flights of stairs. To be fair I knew that would be the case when I booked it. I wouldn't recommend if you have mobility problems. Two sloping ceilings in my room meant frequent bumping of head!

No nonsense room. Really handy if you’ve been travelling to Dover for the ferry and need to rest once you get to France.

The rooms are clean, the staff friendly, the shower is working (well) The TV is working but only channels in french. The location is ok, between the station and the city center, with a walking distance to both. The area feels safe.
The hotel is very ordinary and the room has no fridge. Breakfast is ok, but a lot of white bread.
