Thanks for the kindness of the the staff specially the one who works at night.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

room was fine if a little bit scruffy. Location was next to a building site and in an really unpleasant area of twon to walk through at night. Bathroom i think was good.

The only thing is that they found us a replacement hotel during the night.
At 12:00 PM on the day of our arrival, we received a message from the hotel stating that they could check us in at 11:00 PM, since our train was arriving at that time. However, at 4:00 PM, we received a message saying that the hotel had closed unexpectedly for renovations and could not accommodate us. They did, however, mention another hotel that would take us in. So, at 12:30 a.m., we had to hire a taxi for five people to get to the new hotel, located almost on the outskirts of the city. We had chosen this hotel specifically because of its proximity to the Midi train station. We already had train tickets to Bruges for 9:00 a.m. the next day. So, every day we had to take a taxi to leave the new hotel and return to the hotel at 10:00 PM. There was a bus somewhere, but since it was the Easter holidays, we were advised not to wait for it for an unknown amount of time. Besides, we already had train tickets. This led to significant additional expenses! Therefore, I do not recommend this hotel because of such potential unpleasant surprises for tourists who paid for their stay a month before arrival!
