A wonderful villa with a large beautiful garden and a magnetic view. The free parking is a great convenience.
A breakfast starting at 8 a.m. is a little big late. An option to have at least a coffe before that will be great.

View of the lake from the room was exceptional. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and had all the basics. Lots of TV channels for all languages. Decent WiFi and a decent breakfast. Private beach. Hotel has lots of character.
Could've been more shampoo/conditioner options. Breakfast could have been replenished more but nothing really to complain about.

Such a beautiful Hotel with a lot of history.
The view was spectacular and I would return for sure.
The bedrooms were not the most modern BUT they were extremely clean and the staff was super nice and attentive.

The hotel has a charming old-fashioned character that feels truly authentic to the location! The surrounding garden is beautiful and the view from the balcony is simply out of this world. The room was spacious, spotless and impressively well-maintained, preserving its original decor in the most elegant way. Staying here felt like stepping into a time capsule — in the best possible sense.
It’s not something we particularly disliked, but it’s worth mentioning a few things for future guests. The hotel is located right on the main road, so there can be some traffic noise. If you plan to walk to either Stresa or Baveno, be aware that part of the route doesn’t have a pedestrian walkway. The mattress could use an update — we both woke up with a bit of a stiff neck. Breakfast could also be improved with fresher options, as we noticed a few items that didn’t seem very fresh.
