FANTASTIC Location in the heart of the historic downtown, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Communication was clear and fast, great value!
The only things I can say, were not major issues. The bathroom was really tight, if you are a bigger person, that might be an issue (which was my husband’s issue, as he is tall). There are a lot of stairs, which is not necessarily an issue, but it can be for some. So just be aware. And the 3rd floor, which is where we were had a lower ceiling in one of the sides of the room, which made me hit my head a few times. Not an issue per se, but just good to be aware.

Avignon is a small place and very walkable so location was good. Room was well stocked and mostly clean. Bed was big enough for two people.
Other than an error on communication in terms of providing instructions on entering the property (we were stuck outside for about 45 minutes), we wished there was a proper kitchen sink or water dispenser other than the bathroom sink. We tried bypassing this by boiling water in the kettle, but the kettle itself wasn't as clean as expected (limestone and residue), so boiling our water left a lot of residue within it.

Sloping ceiling , no comfortable seats, no bedside table, minimal cooking facilities, washing facilities difficult with no dishcloth or washing up liquid
