Avignon is a small place and very walkable so location was good. Room was well stocked and mostly clean. Bed was big enough for two people.
Other than an error on communication in terms of providing instructions on entering the property (we were stuck outside for about 45 minutes), we wished there was a proper kitchen sink or water dispenser other than the bathroom sink. We tried bypassing this by boiling water in the kettle, but the kettle itself wasn't as clean as expected (limestone and residue), so boiling our water left a lot of residue within it.

It was exactly as described, compact but with everything we needed. Clean and welcoming, a very comfortable bed too. Even the flights of stairs were fine🤗. A brilliant central location and a thoughtful hostess.

Pretty good location. Quiet corner of the city.
The apartment looks quite new. There is a TV.
There was an information guide for the city.
The check-in and check-out instructions are clear.

This is a very barebones apartment that does not actually provide a lot. It is much smaller than it looks, with very basic supplies. There is not a lot of effort to make the place actually welcoming, with the cheap shampoo, no hand soap, and all the utensils just kept in a plastic box. There is a water kettle but it doesn't work well with the sink. They also only provided 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 people staying 1 week. Overall, it definitely felt like it was more for profit maximization than it was for hospitality (even less the environmental friendly things they say in their replies to other guests... if you actually care about the environment, you would not provide the cheapest possible shampoos/ dish wash/ non-recycled toilet paper).
