Gümüşlük is a great quiet town, and Oda is a the best hotel to stay there.
The service and the staff were exceptional. The room had everything we needed for a 2 weeks stay—there were comfortable beds, air conditioning, a fridge, a nice shower with all the supplies. We were able to rent bikes for no charge. The hotel also has a very cozy terrace with a stunning view on the town, the mountains, and the sea.
Near the hotel, there are a lot of things one would need during the trip—supermarkets, various shops, bars, the market, ATMs, great taxi service etc. The civilisation is certainly there. The water is under 15 walk.
There is no breakfast in the hotel, so we had to eat in nearby restaurants. To be honest, there are a lot of them, and the food there is exceptionally good. I strongly recommend Ice Irish Bar and Pina Balık Restoran. I don't recommend eating near water—the food is worse and more expensive.
Another small issue was that the nights were quite noisy. Cars would pass by, the imam would be calling for a pray with their singing, the people would be talking loud passing near the hotel. Closing the windows helped but reduced the incoming fresh air.

Location is very near the center of Gumusluk on a main road and is really walking distance to the Gumusluk bay itself (5-8min). Small but nice room with decent decorations. Space was enough for me and I was not in the room for long durations apart from sleeping in anyway.
Check-in and check-out were interesting. Upon checking-in I was offered to be taken to my room but not helped with the luggage although there was no lift. I generally reject the help offer but was just shown into the room as mere gesture and cannot see the point. No information on Covid-19 or house policies were shared or found in the room either.
For checking-out I had to call a number and wait their arrival after having being firmly reminded that "the reception operated 09:00-23:00, which they said were given on Booking.com where I had must have done my booking". I was not told this before, and the hours were not written anywhere atone there; and at the time I could not find the data on booking.com either.. Would be great if it is updated and an informative policy implemented.
Hotel is on a sizeable road and you can hear the guests or tenants of the next door houses conversing at the door etc., so not the best location for a light sleeper.
