About this cottage rental
You will stay in the longère next to the 18th century presbytery.
Nestled in the heart of a small charming and peaceful village, you reach Bergues and its ramparts in 10 minutes, Cassel and its famous museum of Flanders in 15 min, Ypres in 40 'and Bruges (the little Belgian Venice) in 1 h.
Close to the French and Belgian coast, it will take you 20 minutes to get there.
The cottage has 1 room for 2 people with the possibility of adding 2 extra beds in the same room. .
Large bathroom with shower and sink.
Living room with sofa, dining area for 4 people + equipped kitchenette.
At discretion, coffee and tea capsules.
Consumable products available (toilet paper, paper towels, washing up liquid, cleaning product, garbage bags, kleenex, shower gel.

Very interesting property in the garden of old building owned by host, private entry and private space in garden . Accommodation was excellent. Be aware very low beams in bedroom and bathroom . I would happily stay again as host Sabine very friendly and helpful made us feel welcome . Excellent English speaker .

The Gite was tranquil …. Beautifully decorated, the simplicity of this gave a calm and peaceful stay ….
The host Sabine was lovely and was at hand for any issue although I couldn’t imagine any issues arising

We booked our trip the day before as a last minute break. Sabine is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.
The gite is very close to the Belgian border and we visited several historic sites as well as a brewery tour.
Would highly recommend as a base for anyone wishing to explore Passchendale, Ypres and other WW1 places of interest.
Thank you Sabine, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Sabine was really helpful, found out local information for us, made sure that we had sufficient coffee, tea, etc.The gite was well kitted out, we cooked on a few evenings, and ate out also. The bedroom is well laid out, good shower in the ensuite. The garden is a nice quiet space.
