About this cottage rental
This lovely little bungalow makes for the perfect family holiday. Situated on the popular Blue Dolphin holiday park, there is plenty to keep everyone occupied.. 1 step to entrance.
All on the Ground Floor:
Open plan living space.
Living area: 32" Freeview TV
Dining area.
Kitchen area: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 2: Bunk (3ft) Beds, Single (3ft) Bed
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, No Toilet
Separate Toilet.. Electric heaters, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Welcome pack.. Lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a fenced boating lake, 500 yards away.. Jasmine View is a great little chalet bungalow situated on the ever popular Blue Dolphin Holiday Park near Filey. The two bedroomed property has a double room and a triple room as well as a small kitchen area and living room. The property benefits from its own seating area to the front. There is no Wi-Fi in this property, however you can access the internet inside the facilities on-site the park.
Filey is just 2 miles away and is one of the most popular seaside resorts along the east coast. It has won many awards for being a fantastic beach, and in 2018 was named the ’Best beach in the UK’ by The Sunday Times. With over 5 miles of golden sands, the beach is lovely and flat. Filey is a very traditional seaside resort that tourists return to year after year. The town has an abundance of local shops, cafés and bars.
Set on a regular bus route or within a short drive you have the seaside resorts of Scarborough, Flamborough Head and Bridlington as well as the RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs, where you can see the puffins perched on the rocks. Jasmine View is a perfect base to see the Yorkshire Coast yet have the advantage of all the entertainment on the site. Beach 2 miles. Shop 200 yards, pub 150 yards, restaurant 500 yards.
In order for access to activities the guests will need to purchase entertainment passes on arrival at property, from reception- these are subject to availability due to Covid time and booking restrictions. There are other local swimming pools (not on site) and other activities to enjoy while staying at Jasmine view if it is not possible to use on site facilities. this was one of the best holiday chalets you could wish to stay in, it is compact but has everything
that you need, extremely clean, beds are very comfortable.
the owners were there on arrival and talked you through everything you needed to know.
the only thing I found was that the toilet door should open outwards as you have trouble
shutting door and instead of the chair in the main bedroom you could do with a 4 draw cabinet
to keep underclothes in.

The chalet was good for a couple with young children. Close to Filey. The Haven site was typically less than welcoming to private renters. The playgrounds weren't the best, and weren't sufficient for the volume of visitors. The mini market was great and made self catering easy. The food that could be purchased at the outlets was expensive, papa johns did good chicken dish and good pizza, the fish and chips were appalling, the chips, I suspect a visit from environmental health would shut them down. The chips were inedible, some looked as though they had been cooked many times over, made from rotten potatoes. The fish was in soggy batter, eating in the cafe area wasn't possible, the tables and chairs were always dirty with left over food, the floor was covered in spillages, it's a shame because the site could offer so much.
