Ein wunderschöner Ort mitten im Luberon, wo viele Sehenswürdigkeiten mit kurzer Fahrt erreichbar sind. Sehr gepflegte Zimmer, schöne Gartenanlage mit Pool, ein reichhaltiges Frühstück und sehr nette Gastgeberin Caroline und Gastgeber Nicolas. Caroline holte extra Pfefferminz aus Ihrem Kräutergarten für meinen Tee. So lieb!

Schönes ruhiges Bed and Breakfast in der Nähe von Gordes. Die Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Poolbereich ist schön. Das Zimmer ist sauber. Frühstück war gut mit leckerem Omelette und Croissants.
Kommunikation vor dem Aufenthalt war nicht möglich. Die Unterkunft hat nicht geantwortet. Rückblickend liegt das wahrscheinlich an der Sprachbarriere, aber mit Übersetzer-Apps sollte auch das mittlerweile möglich sein.
Wir wurden bei der Ankunft leider sehr unfreundlich begrüßt. Wir kamen ca. 1 1/2 Stunden vor der (späten) Check-in Zeit um 16 Uhr an. Zunächst war niemand vorzufinden. Nach einigem Warten haben wir dann die Inhaberin getroffen, die leider nur Französisch spricht und auch keine Basics auf Englisch. Wir hatten gefragt, ob wir bis das Zimmer fertig ist noch am Pool warten dürfen. Sie hat uns dann in einem sehr schroffen Ton mitgeteilt, dass das nicht möglich sei und wir erst um 16 Uhr wiederkommen sollen. Das war leider ein sehr unschöner Start in den Aufenthalt. Als wir wiederkamen war sie dann ganz nett, aber das Verständigungsproblem bleibt leider. Nach Tipps für die Umgebung zu fragen wäre somit nicht möglich gewesen.
Das Zimmer hätte ein bisschen besser ausgestattet sein können, z.B. gab es keinen Mülleimer außer im Bad. Shampoo und Duschgel waren nicht beschriftet, sodass man beide nicht unterscheiden konnte.
Der Pool war schön und es gab ausreichend Liegen und Schirme. Allerdings gibt es im Pool ein Alarmsystem, welches jedes Mal sehr laut piepste, wenn jemand in den Pool ging und sich alle 30 Minuten durch erneutes lautes Piepsen aktivieren musste. Das war tatsächlich sehr nervig.

The food (breakfast + dinner) is simply excellent and in our view reasonably priced in terms of price-quality.
The location and setting of the B&B is ydillic.
The rooms are charming and comfortable (eg shower, high quality bed)
We visited the B&B for three nights with our baby of 8 months old. We would not recommend the B&B for a couple with a baby, as:
- you are not allowed to take food or drinks in the room, except for the baby
- there is no lunch option in the B&B but it is prohibited to take your own lunch at the B&B (except when you rent the house)
- there is no fridge, microwave oven or coffee machine in the room
- breakfast only starts at 8:30AM (our boy was awake at 6:30AM :))
Also, while the restaurant service was excellent, we missed a sense of overall hospitality that we expect from a B&B which created kind of a strange ambiance/atmosphere. The owners focus very much (too much in our opinion) on the rules which they impose on the guests. However they have a detrimental effect on the guest experience. E.g.
- no drinks allowed at the swimming pool. If you want to have a drink you need to go to the designated area (terrace above swimming pool)
- No gadgets in the swimming pool
Also, there is no proactive approach in advising guests on where to go or what to do.
Finally, the owners fully run the B&B by themselves. This is part of the charm, however we felt they have too much on their plate and therefore were stressed out. This poured over to the guests, as you clearly felt there was limited room for practical requests (and we had a lot of requests for our baby boy).
Overall, a bit disappointed and would definatley not recommend for couple with baby(s).
Nevertheless, food, location and setting is excellent.
