We had a great time in the Ascona area. The apartment was clean and modern and it was spacious. The air-conditioning worked well! My favorite part was the view from the balcony - the lake, mountains and church were so beautiful to wake up to. The bus stop was right outside, which was very convenient! The kitchen had everything we needed and the bottle of prosecco was a nice surprise.
Overall, we had a nice stay!
A few things that we didn't love. There was a Nespresso machine but no pods - It would have been really nice to at least have a few for the first morning. The bed in the master bedroom was pretty uncomfortable - it was uneven with dips. Also, the 2nd bedroom had an odd smell to it - we couldn't place it, but it never went away even after opening the windows all day.
Not at the fault of the host - but something to note, the neighbors upstairs were very loud - they came home after 11pm and were walking around in heels, scraping the chairs across the floor, and talking loudly. They might have also been guests, so this might not always be the case….

Die Lage war sehr schön, mit Blick auf den Lago Maggiore. Einrichtung Wohnung war ok Schlafzimmer, Bäder.
Küchenaustattung war etwas spartanisch. Keine Schwämme oder Lappen zum Küchentisch reinigen nach dem Essen. Keine Seife zum Händewaschen im Bad oder Spülmittel in der Küche. Alles so kleine Dinge. Es gab aber zumindest Spülmaschine mit Tabs. Für ein Weekend ist das dann natürlich etwas mühsam. Darum alles entweder von zuhause mitnehmen oder im Ort unten kaufen bevor Laden zugeht.
Dann Zugang Wohnung ist nicht geeignet für Leute, die gehbeinträchtigt sind. Treppeneingang zur Wohnung sieht sehr provisorisch aus (ähnlich wie ein Durchgang Baustelle) und eng. Für die Schweiz eher ungewöhnlich :-). Aber sobald man in der Wohnung ist, entschädigt vieles die Aussicht. Nichtsdestotrotz finde ich den Preis etwas übertrieben, da ja einiges fehlt in der Wohnung und Treppenaufstieg.
