About this house rental
Le Pigeonnier, a limestone tower in Les Baux, built in the 18th century, was in 1942 fitted with additional construction used to house the workers who came each year to transplant the rice. The gîte is made up of three main rooms, 2 bedrooms, one of which is equipped with a double bed and the other with three single beds. The room serving as living room and kitchen is spacious. A kitchen with gas stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, extractor hood, all the necessary small electrical instruments and of course the dishes for 6 people. The part reserved for rest will offer you two armchairs, a sofa, a television with storage unit and a table with 6 chairs. The bathroom has a very spacious shower, sink, toilet, and a washing machine. Hot water is supplied by a cumulus of 200 liters. Outside, a terrace reserved for the gîte, large enough to rest or take meals. Garden equipment, table and chairs, plus a barbecue will be at your disposal. If you wish to shelter your vehicles, a nearby agricultural shed to accommodate them. The total surface of this accommodation is around 68 m². A large plane tree provides shade on the terrace.

You are in the heart of the Camargue natural park renowned for the diversity of its fauna and flora but also for its terroir, its Provencal gastronomy and its bullfighting traditions. The nearest village of Le Mas is 6 km away and is called Le Sambuc. You will find a small grocery store, a tobacco bar and a restaurant renowned for its Provencal cuisine. These businesses revolve around a large square serving as a bowling alley on sunny days.

Le gîte est situé au sein d'une propriété agricole ,dans un cadre avenant et calme . De grands arbres apportent une ombre salutaire . L'hôte est charmant et très accueillant . Pourtant , sa gentillesse ne fait pas oublier un certain nombre de points noirs . L'équipement et le matériel , réduits au strict minimum , sont mal entretenus . Les moustiquaires sont absentes ou trouées , donc inefficaces . Dans la salle de bain , une prise de courant descellée est dangereuse . Il n'y a rien pour accrocher le linge de toilette . Les draps qui sont fournis à ma demande ne sont pas repassés ( 8 euros par lit ) . Tout cela est très dommageable et doit absolument être revu afin d'améliorer le séjour .
