The apartment located on the tenth floor in a building with a lift offers a breathtaking view of Vesuvius and the historic center of Naples. Near the metro line 1 and line 2. We loved our stay in this apartment. It was so spacious, we could have fit more than the six people that we were. Very comfortable, clean, close to the historic city center, and the views from the 10th story balcony were fabulous. The hosts were very friendly, responsive and helpful. There was one issue we needed support with, and they were on it right away. We found a lot of restaurants and stores right nearby, and the metro stop was just a few blocks away. don't miss getting up at sunrise and seeing the rosy light over Vesuvio, Capri, San Martino and the entire city, as the morning bells are ringing! With luggage from the train station it’s about 25 mins walk. The apartment is exactly how it was described. Very spacious, lots of room to spread out with two bedrooms on one side and the third on the opposite side. Great kitchen and very nice views. The city was not what we expected, very gritty but that had nothing to do with the rental. It was about 15-30 mins from most of the places we visited. Great pizza and pasta restaurants within 15-17 min walk. It was so easy to work with the owner, great communication.

Host (Marco) was super! Helped us with our many taxis and restaurants.
Location was probably fine. I didn't come away thinking there was a perfect location in Napoli.
There were 5 of us (20years to 80). Too far to walk from train station for someone older with suitcases. We had to taxi to everything other than the Duomo and Arch. museum.
The views were better than I expected! Great sun sets of Vesuvius.
The apartment just needs a few things to make it better:
1. only spice there was a little salt. I'm guessing the cleaning people take everything after you leave.
2. Coffee maker was terrible. Took about 35 minutes for the drip coffee maker to make 6 cups....
3. more cooking items like baking sheet or pans.
unfortunately 1 of our bathrooms didn't work for 2 days but they did get it fixed.
The steps up the first 2 floors did suck with all our suitcases.
It also had a Stange feel on the second floor...like entering a government social services building.
We could also hear our neighbors screaming at each other a couple days.
