The house has 50 square metres and is intended for two people. It may be possible to add an extra bed for a small child. A small but well-equipped kitchen, washing machine, tumble dryer and the friendly bathroom make self-catering easy. The garden is fully fenced and invites you to relax. Pets are allowed. The surrounding communities are ideal for hiking, mountain biking, swimming and skiing. They have put a lot of effort into this and offer a lot of variety. Climbing garden Weißenstadt, summer toboggan run, new from summer 2015: Alpine Coaster on the Ochsenkopf, built on stilts, 1000 m long, Europe's most modern bird of prey park Falknerei Katharinenberg, Wunsiedel, climbing hall Zuckerhut, Wunsiedel, indoor playground Hoflahop, adventure on the Ochsenkopf with the first zipline park in Germany, freeride route. Immerse yourself in the world of Duckburg, in the Erika-Fuchs-Haus in Schwarzenbach an der Saale is Germany's first museum for comics and language art. Mödlareuth - the divided village, a reminder of the "Wall". Day trips to Kulmbach, Kronach, Hof, Bayreuth, Bamberg Coburg allow you to enjoy the culture or simply go shopping. We ourselves run a small organic farm nearby. Honey, home-made jams, eggs or a home-baked cake will be gladly shared with you. The house has a rear entrance that is accessible, but I do not know if the width of the interior doors is sufficient for a wheelchair, but I would clarify if necessary! Elbersreuth is located on a plateau between the valleys of the Steinach and the Wild Rodach at the foot of the 690 m high Pressecker Knock in the Franconian Forest Nature Park in the heart of the Franconian Forest, about 27 km north of Kulmbach and about 20 km east of Kronach, lies the municipality of Presseck. It lies approx. 650 metres above sea level. Surrounded by meadows and forests, Presseck offers peace and relaxation and you can enjoy the unique low mountain range landscape of the Franconian Forest on approx. 80 km of marked circular hiking trails. The Mühlenweg is one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the Franconian Forest. Hike through one of the most impressive valleys in the Franconian Forest, which has been designated as a European FFH area. This special natural monument was created thousands of years ago. The river Steinach ate its way deeper and deeper through an extremely hard volcanic rock called "quartz keratophyre". The Steinachklamm geotope with its steep slopes and the narrow gorge south of Wildenstein will remain unforgettable. The largely protected natural and cultural landscape is characterised by its rapid alternation of wooded areas, densely wooded ridges and meadow valleys. Numerous rivers and streams run through the area and were once transport routes for the timber industry. The climate is sometimes harsh and striking, just like the landscape The Franconian Forest is ideal terrain for hikers and cyclists of all abilities, whether cyclists or mountain bikers. Here you are not yet stuck in a "cycling traffic jam" and can discover many a kilometre all to yourself. In winter, the region usually offers sufficient snow for Nordic winter sports. Es war wunderschön, Hüttenfrau sehr sympathisch, Wetter war spitze!In dem Häuschen hätten wir noch länger aushalten können!!Es ist wirklich alles da!!
