About this villa rental
Villa Danica is an authentic Dalmatian stone house in a secluded quiet place on a hill without city electricity and water. However, the home charm is self-sustaining which provides guests complete comfort thanks to natural ecological sources of power and water. The complete comfort of hot and cold water and electricity is ensured. On the ground floor is a kitchen, dining room and living room. Charming wooden kitchen equipped with stove (without oven), sink, dishes for eating and drinking, fireplace for barbecuing. The chimney is an isolator from the smoke in the house. In the winter, the fire from the fireplace warms water in the radiators in the house. A large dining table provides an old time feeling, when families and friends dined together and created common memories. The living room has a TV, couch which serves as an extra bed for two additional persons. The bathroom is equipped with a bath tub, toilet, boiler and shower. The exterior features a pool with deck chairs, umbrellas and a shower, a terrace with outdoor furniture, an outdoor fireplace, an outdoor sink, a children's playground and a parking lot. The wrought fence provides intimacy and luxury.
Villa Danica located away from the busy city crowds, offers guests a holiday for the body and soul thanks to the location in the secluded rural hilly area. Guests have free Wi-Fi to be available at any time. Thanks to accommodation in the hilly area, guests can enjoy long walks and cycling on marked trails. The area is also suitable for nordic walking. Only 3 km away is Vid, an archaeological site with a museum with exhibited founded artefacts. Next to the museum, is a restaurant serving native Neretva dishes such as eels, frogs and top quality wines. Norin River is ideal for Neretva "lada" ride and photo safari. Also, guests can visit nearby tourist places such as Dubrovnik, Mostar, Split, Medjugorje, delta Neretva and try the kayaks at Bacina lakes or Trebižat.

The villa is fantastic and we were warmly welcomed by the owners who were incredibly helpful. It is a great place, beautiful views, fantastic pool, great facilities all tucked away in a very quiet hamlet.
