About this house rental
We rent our beautifully renovated roof-only house in the “Am Twistesee” holiday park.
The house has 6 beds divided into a double bed on the ground floor and 2 x 2 single beds on the upper floor.
Bedding is provided, but you must bring your own bed linen, sheets, towels and tea towels.
We offer a new fitted kitchen with a convection oven, ceramic hob, 2 refrigerators, extractor hood, kettle, coffee machine and much more.
A dishwasher is not available.
The bathroom has been renovated with a shower and toilet.
In the house you will find a flat-screen television and a radio-CD stereo system.
The house has WiFi.
On the large sun terrace you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest and nature.
This is a non-smoking house and unfortunately pets are not allowed.
Grilling with your own gas or electric grill is permitted.
Grilling with charcoal is not permitted due to the risk of forest fires!
Since the house is located in the middle of the forest, as can be seen in the photos, it can happen that a spider or a mouse gets lost inside.
The prices for the house vary depending on the season between EUR 69 and EUR 85 per day.
In addition to the rental price, there is a flat rate of EUR 3.50 per day / person for water, electricity, gas and WiFi, which is paid on site in cash.
The final cleaning costs EUR 60 and is paid in cash on site when the keys are handed over.
In addition to a table tennis table and a volleyball court, the holiday park also has a very nice playground with a climbing frame, slide, swing, etc.
The Twistesee offers a beautiful sandy beach (accessible on foot) with restaurants, toilets and showers, a water ski facility, boat rental and much more.
At the entrance to the holiday park there is a mini golf course and right next to the holiday park there is a "real" 9-hole golf course with all the trimmings. There is a very good burger restaurant here, which is also within walking distance.
In Bad Arolsen (approx. 5 minutes away by car) there are not only good shopping opportunities but also very good restaurants for every taste.
If you would like to go on bike tours but can't or don't want to take a bike with you, you can rent one cheaply and easily in Bad Arolsen from 2Rad-Brüne (www.2rad-bruene.de).
The neighboring house, also a well-renovated single-roof house, is also available for rent.

Ich war mit meinen drei Kindern in dem schönen Häuschen. Trotz zweier Pubertiere gibt es nichts zu beanstanden ;) Das Häuschen ist schön renoviert, durchdacht eingerichtet (allein zwei Kühlschränke sind im Sommer echt Gold wert), die Betten bequem und bei Problemen ist die Hausverwaltung direkt ansprechbar.
Tischtennischläger/-Bälle und Minigolfschläger/-Bälle findet man im Häuschen.
Die Terrasse ist riesig, schön im grünen gelegen, sodass man in Ruhe draußen essen kann, und dennoch genug Platz ist, um die Strandsachen zu trocknen.
Strand, Wasserski, Minigolf und Rundweg sind schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen - wenn sich auch der Heimweg bergauf zieht ;)
Wir überlegen, nächstes Jahr wieder zu kommen :)

Schönes Häuschen und angenehmer Aufenthalt
Kaffeemaschine war nicht so sauber, Klopapier war sehr sparsam dosiert (eine Rolle) aber sonst alles gut und funktionell

Der Gesamteindruck hat uns überrascht. Die Lage und Umgebung ist fantastisch. Wir waren allerdings überrascht, dass man mit dem Auto nicht direkt bis ans Haus fahren kann. Da wir alle Ü60+ sind war es eine Herausforderung unser Gepäck mit den Milchkarren zu befördern, welches im Nachhinein wiederum ein unvergessliches Erlebnis war. Wir würden aufgrund der Gemütlichkeit im Haus, der sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche und tollen Lage sofort wieder buchen.

Wir waren schon öfter im Ferienpark am Twistesee und auch schon das zweite Mal in dieser Hütte. Es hat uns wieder gut gefallen, die Ausstattung und Lage ist gut. Besonders die große Terrasse und die Wiese direkt dahinter begeistern uns :-)
