About this lodge
We are a small family, who like traveling in the world but also like to host other people. We look forward to seeing you in our cozy wooden house with fireplace, corner bath and attention to detail at home. The house is about 86 square meters and is for the duration of the stay, including the 800 square meters of land alone at your disposal.
So you can feel right at home, we like to light the fireplace when you come. In the fully equipped kitchen you will find everything you need to be well looked after and on the huge sofa landscape you can laze after an active day. The large bedroom upstairs can accommodate 4 people (two beds each 1.80 m and 1.40 m wide). 2 additional persons can sleep in single beds in the adjoining room. Next door is the bathroom with a corner bath. (A shower is planned.) The toilet is on the ground floor. In the large garden and on two terraces you can sit outside in good weather. The wooden house was built in the year 2003 with a lot of love and craftsmanship predominantly from natural materials. Please feel at home!
We would like to point out that there is no central heating (especially if you want to travel in the winter with small children). The wooden house is heated mainly by the fireplace and its heat shafts. In the morning, you can heat up the fireplace so that it stays comfortably warm throughout the day and sit in the evening with a glass of red wine in front of the crackling fire. If you have no experience in the fire, we will show you how easy it is. If required, there is also an electric radiator in the living room (kitchen, living room) and in the bathroom.
Of course you can use our 2 bikes and sledges. Everything is ready! If you are traveling with small children, please contact us. Maybe we can help out with a travel cot, high chair or even a stroller.
Schöneck is a health resort, so we ask you to pay the visitor's tax accordingly (per night 2.00 € / adult and 0.60 € / children).
You can easily arrive by train, Schöneck (Vogtland) and then have it not far to the house. Of course, a journey by car or motorcycle is also possible. A parking lot is in front of the house.
If we can not be there ourselves, our (in-laws) parents, Karin and Wolfgang, will be happy to answer your questions. You can also contact them if you need ideas for leisure time or have questions about the surrounding area.

Unsere Sportgruppe verbrachte ein wundervolles Wochenende in diesem schönen Holzhaus. Aufgefallen sind uns die herausragende Ausstattung und Sauberkeit. Den Kamin haben wir in geselliger Runde sehr genossen. Wanderwege gehen direkt vor der Haustür los. Lieben Dank Rebecca für dieses gemütliche Refugium, wir kommen sicher wieder.

Wir haben 2 sehr schöne Wochen in diesem tollen Ferienhaus verbracht. Einrichtung, Lage und Sauberkeit lassen keine Wünsche offen.
Diese Haus ist in jedem Fall weiter zu empfehlen.

Normalerweise bin ich faul, was Bewertungen angeht, aber hier ist es absolut notwendig: Endlich mal ein Ferienhaus, bei dem man nicht das Gefühl hat, dass die Einrichtung aus abgelegten/nicht mehr gewollten und wild zusammengewürfelten Dingen besteht. Alles stimmig und wirklich sehr anheimelnd. Hier kann man sich super Zuhause fühlen.
Wir hatten großes Pech mit dem Wetter, umso schöner, wenn man in dieses großzügige und gemütliche Haus zurückkehren kann. Unsere Kinder sind recht klein (3 und 6) und auch für diese war es super geeignet. Schöneck ist landschaftlich wirklich sehr reizvoll und besitzt einen megatollen Spielplatz und tolle Bäcker. Wir wären gern noch länger geblieben.
Und als Sahnehäubchen: ich hatte mein Handy bei der Abreise vergessen und die Rebekka und Jens haben sofort und unkompliziert geholfen. Vielen lieben Dank dafür!!!
