About this docked boat rental
Perfect FIFA location without the downtown chaos. Walk 7 minutes to the Seabus, enjoy a beautiful 7-minute ride across the water, then a short train ride to BC Place. Many guests say the commute is easier than staying in Vancouver itself. We have a luxurious and very modern newly constructed float home right in the Creek Marina in North Vancouver, steps from Lonsdale Quay, restaurants and the SeaBus (15 minutes) to downtown Vancouver. You won't need a car!
Sit on our west facing deck overlooking downtown Vancouver and the North Shore mountains, sip a glass of wine while watching the beautiful sunsets.
Vancouver is a cycling paradise - cycle around the city on the 22 km Vancouver seawall or explore the Spirit Trail on the North Shore (the marina with our float home is beside the Spirit Trail).
We are waterfront in the heart of the North Vancouver, in one of its most vibrant neighborhoods. There are many restaurants within walking distance of the float home. You are a 7 minute walk to the Seabus, and then a 15 minute Seabus ride to the heart of downtown Vancouver: shopping on Robson Street, the Vancouver Art Gallery, theaters, Stanley Park and much more. The Creek Marina is the ultimate water and urban experience, all in one! It's quiet like the country but with all the advantages of the city.
Our home is ideally suited as a romantic get-away or vacation for a couple. You have the entire float home (both floors), no other guests above or below you.
We have a gourmet chef's kitchen with a 2 ovens (Miele speed oven & Miele steam oven), as well as a Miele range and dishwasher and a Sub-Zero fridge.
The float home is highly automated (lighting, heat, blinds), and can be controlled via wall switches, iPad (we leave one for you to use) apps, or using voice commands. You can AirPlay music to the upstairs great room, the master bedroom and master bathroom. You can also use all these things the old fashion way - by flipping switches.
One bathroom is equipped with a steam shower with seating for 2, and the master bedroom has a 2 person soaker tub.
We just love everything about the home and living on the water, and now feel like we are permanently on vacation.

The views of the mountains, marina, and city while sitting on the patio are second to none. In addition to cleanliness, the place was also VERY well stocked. Tons of spices for cooking as well as tools, utensils, gorgeous china, etc. The kitchen is top notch and will have everything you need. I also loved the home speaker system that allowed you to airplay from your device to any room in the house. They covered everything with meticulous detail in the guest info book. Everything about the place is meticulously thought out.”

As of May 1, 2024 British Columbia has new restrictions on short-term-rental properties, our float home is exempt as it is our primary residence, and the marina is located on Squamish First Nation land. Additionally, we pay the Squamish Nation a yearly licence fee for using our home as a short-term-rental when we are not occupying it ourselves.

Awesome place to stay! Quiet, well furnished, walking distance to town and Seabus yo downtown Vancouver and great owners! Only thing that caught us slightly off guard was the motion during tide changes…

Despite the gloomy Vancouver weather, we thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Blue Wolf. It rained all week so we watched the very lovely deck from inside the spacious great room. Cozy heating on both levels. Hosts communicate very well. Coffee, tea and cookie stocks are great. Cooking needs complete including condiments, spices and gadgets. Location amazing near restaurants and grocery store. Seabus access to city awesome. Note that float houses do rock in the water - it was part of the charm for us but might not suit all. Hosts share many needs like umbrella, shopping bags, books etc which makes flying in light viable. Did not use the tub, shower is amazing.
