Ideal location on the waterfront. 1 min walk is the hot box sauna and access to sea via steps for a cold dip. 1 min walk away is the Greenway walk way with breathtaking scenery of the sea and mountains, you can hire bicycles or walk, we walked about 7km to An Tain cafe for some homemade cake and coffee, walked 7km back to the marina. From the Marina, you can walk into the town in about 10mins, I'd recommend the mobile chippie and ice cream van. There is a restaurant at the Marina with breakfast, lunch & dinner options plus they are dog friendly!
The Marina has very strict rules around quiet time so everyone in the Marina apartments and also outside in the Marina mobile home park up area, from 9pm to 9am, theres complete silence, no one was around, which is great & very family friendly. Although you can hear the boats bobbing in the water, you can hear the constant clanging of sail posts, you can hear the sea breeze clanging the boats etc.. so some people might find this annoying if your not use to it, I suggest you bring ear plugs (& eye mask as the apartments had upper windows that let in light the whole time from bright lights outside). Other from that the Marina is perfect!!

From the start the team were great, they allowed me to check in slightly earlier as I was ahead of time which was a great start to the weekend. The photos did not do the rooms justice, incredible view, extremely clean and very spacious. The main town is only a 10 minute walk from the property however there is a bar/restaurant on site which is very affordable with excellent food and the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Will definitely be back

Beautiful part of the marina for the apartment location stunning views and only a short 20 min walk from the town of carlingford good value for group. Beds were quiet comfortable but I did not see any mattress protectors. Hot box saunas and sea swim very near which was brilliant
It was very outdated holes in walls , shoddy paint fix ups on walls smell of urine in the bathroom shower drain clogged constantly and left a deep puddle in the shower for a while before draining eventually and cleaning was non existent id imagine at the max all the cleaning done is a change of bedding. There was old food in the freezer from previous guests ( well freezer burned so it wasn’t recent) there was shoes, socks and dirt under all the beds and down the sides of the couches. Floors very dusty and dirty. The couches are barely fit for purpose all the cushions need replacement, cobwebs and dirt all over the windows inside and out. Mould on the ceiling and walls in the toilet and holes in the wall from door handle. Radiator rusty and outdated in kitchen.
Disappointed overall as it is a beautiful area and if there was effort put into the upkeep and cleaning they would be just fab but I get the impression hens and stags use them for a quick sleep and don’t care.
