About this house rental
We offer rentals up to a maximum of 90 days per calender year (Short-let stay) and the balance of the year (266 days) are available for booking which has to be over 90 days (Long let rental). All bookings over 90 days comes with a discount of up to 50% .
This rental is in a unique position of being 15 minutes by tube (Victoria line) to the City centre (Kings cross, Oxford circus etc) or Green Park Station (Victoria line) for Buckingham Palace 20 minutes, with out paying City centre rentals.

Situated off Blackhorse Lane, the apartment is perfectly located for easy access to all of London's attractions as the underground station is on the doorstep,(10 to 15 minutes walk to Blackhorse tube station and 15 minutes by train to the City centre).

From your apartment take Bus 158 towards Blackhorse Road Station (get off High street /Walthamstow market - 7 minutes journey)
Walthamstow Market has been in operation since 1885, and it still remains Europe's longest street market, taking up the entire length of the high street. The markfrom et stalls sell cheap clothing, hand bags, bric-a-brac, fresh fruit and veg, books and second hand CDs amongst other things, with traders loudly touting their wares to passers-by. The market doesn't open on Sundays or Mondays and the busiest days by far are Fridays and Saturdays when getting from one end of the street to the other can become quite a chore. Luckily you can dive into one of the local caffs, pubs or the pie and eel shop for a breather. On Sunday mornings, a separate farmer's market operates just off the high street, on the Town Square opposite the shopping mall

We were a large family group from the US with ages ranging from 3 months to 78 years. Overall we had a good stay at the house. It met the expectations based on the description and the price. Many of the rooms in the house are small—but having traveled to Europe previously —I expected that. Our group did not need large rooms because we knew that we would be out enjoying London each day of our stay. The kitchen is well equipped (we did not cook any large meals). The communication with the owner was outstanding. He immediately addressed an issue we had with a tripped circuit breaker. Linens and towels were provided.

The neighborhood was quiet and quaint. To be honest it was very nice to be in a quiet local area and to get away from all of the crowds in the downtown areas. The house was nice and the rooms were perfect for all of our needs. Having a bathroom on each floor was great too!

Pros: 1. 7 bedrooms that can sleep up to 10-11 people 2. Decent garden. Does need some work 3. Wild Grains Bakery within walking distanceCons:*sorry, but this is going to be lengthy, but I feel obligated to let the next family who is considering renting this house to know everything we experienced. I have rented multiple homes in the London area over the years, and the reason why I rented this home was due to our group size. Needless1. the layout of the house is not set up to comfortably accommodate more than 5 people. The "sitting" area is way to small, and the dining tables and chairs do not fit to the space provided, so sitting down for meals for a large group is not really possible.2. There are bathrooms & showers on all 3 floors but we could only get the temperature of the downstairs shower set to an range where we could take a shower. We could NOT utilize the showers on the 2nd and 3rd floors. They would fluctuate between cold and very hot while trying to take a shower. All of the showers and baths are very small. VERY SMALL!4. Towels were provided, but no wash clothes.5. There are no sheets on the beds. Only a thin mattress cover to lay on, and a comforter.6. After "checking in", we walked to a grocery store by Blackhorse Tube Station to get some items. No grocery bags were at the house, so we ended up having to buy those. Plus we found out that after returning home, there was no basic items like salt or pepper provided.
