Spread over two levels, it offers a spacious living room with a traditional wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen opening onto a 10 m² terrace, a ground-floor bedroom with a double bed and a cot, and a mezzanine with two additional beds (140 and 160 cm, which can be converted into two single beds). The spacious bathroom features a double vanity and a large shower. Internet access, a wood-burning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a dryer: everything is provided for a carefree stay.
There is a shared courtyard of 50 m² with the owner. Small pets are welcome with prior agreement from the owners. This bright 97 m² cottage, furnished with handcrafted pieces by the owner, a carpenter, accommodates up to 6 people in a natural setting.
From the terrace, the view sweeps across the rolling landscapes of the Loire Valley, between forests and pastures. Ideally located for exploring the Forez region, the gîte puts you just steps away from superb hiking trails, accessible directly from the house. In winter, head to the Chalmazel ski resort, 24 km away, for a snowy getaway. For culture enthusiasts, don't miss the Château de la Bâtie d’Urfé, a Renaissance gem just 20 minutes away. In Montbrison, voted the most beautiful market in France, you can savor local flavors in a friendly atmosphere.
