About this apartment rental
We rent a cozy 55m apartment for 2-3 people in Ernstroda, in Thuringia, in the green heart of Germany.
The apartment is located on the upper floor of a two-family house, in a very quiet, unique location, right by the forest. It is a non-smoking apartment. Dogs possible on request.
Furnishing:

- 1 living room with open kitchen and dining area
(the kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine and dishes)
- Living room with couch, armchair, TV and of course WiFi
- balcony with seating
- bathroom with shower and tub
- Barbecue facilities available

- Towels and bed linen are provided
From here you can go straight for a hike / bike tour or just enjoy the peace and quiet on the balcony and let your mind wander.
There is a farmers market in Ernstroda. Here you can get your fresh rolls and sausage from our own production every day.
Further shopping facilities are available in the adjacent climatic health resort Friedrichroda, which is only 3 km away. These are easy to reach by bus, car or simply on foot through the forest.
In Friedrichroda you can visit the small inner city with some coffees and inns. Enjoy the regional cuisine, such as B. Thuringian dumplings, roast venison or just a Thuringian bratwurst.
On hot summer days, the sports pool in Friedrichroda, with a 50 m pool and a 10 m tower, as well as the family pool in Finsterbergen are recommended
There are numerous excursion destinations to explore, such as: B.
- the Wartburg in Eisenach or the Dragon Gorge (36 km)
- the cathedral and the beautiful old town of Erfurt (48 km)
- Inselsberg, summer toboggan run and fun park (17 km)
- Oberhof winter sports center
