Egg-Kaltenbrunn is located 28 km southeast of Bregenz.
The house is in a quiet location at an altitude of 1000 m and offers a unique view.
The cosy house is lovingly furnished and made almost entirely of wood.
The living room and two bedrooms are equipped with modern, energy-saving infrared heaters and have been recently renovated.
The living area is located on the first floor and features a tiled stove and a large balcony with an outdoor dining area and deck chairs.
The accommodation is ideally located as a starting point for hikers, mountain bikers, skiers and cross-country skiers. In the immediate vicinity there is a paragliding centre with a paragliding and hang gliding school, as well as an activity centre offering rafting, archery, high ropes courses, cave tours and much more.

Een heerlijk en gezellig huis. De inrichting is gemütlich en het uitzicht naar het dal is adembenemend. Wandelen in deze regio is geweldig ook door de vele mogelijkheden met bergbanen.

twee mooi weken gehad, heerlijk huisje. Fijn balkon en prachtig uitzicht. Je zit wel vrij hoog op de berg dus altijd wel wat (extra) reistijd om er te komen. Voor 7 personen lijkt het wel wat krap.

Wij zijn met de kerst met ons gezin (3 kinderen: 7,9 en 11) een week naar huis Barbara geweest om te skiën. Wat een heerlijke vakantie hebben we daar gehad! De reis ging zo snel, dat we eerder dan verwacht op de plaats van bestemming aankwamen. Geen enkel probleem. De sleutel lag klaar bij Gasthof Alpenrose (ongeveer 500 meter bij het huis vandaan) en we konden meteen naar het huis toe. Het huis was gezellig in kerstsfeer versierd en de kachel stond al te branden. Kortom: we kwamen binnen en voelden ons direct thuis. Het is echt een heel gezellig en warm huis. Bovendien ook erg ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien (keuken en badkamer). Het uitzicht is echt adembenemend en de rust een ware oase. De kinderen konden heerlijk in en om het huis spelen. In de omgeving zijn voldoende skiegebieden. Je kunt kiezen voor Sketteregg, wat op ongeveer 15 km ligt. Dit is een klein familie skigebied met 1 lange stoeltjeslift en verschillende sleepliften. Met de kinderen was dat voor ons prima. Het was er heerlijk rustig, dus we hadden alle ruimte en hoeften niet te wachten bij de liften. Maar er zijn nog tal van andere skigebieden op ongeveer een half uur rijden. Deze skigebieden zijn groter en bieden voor ervaren skiërs meer uitdaging.Op ongeveer 500 meter van het huis ligt Gasthof Alpenrose. Je kunt hier echt heerlijk eten voor een goede prijs. Ook kun je gebruik maken van hun broodjesservice. Wij hebben dat niet gedaan, omdat de broodjes pas rond 09:00 uur zouden arriveren (huis Barbara ligt namelijk boven op de berg). Maar de mogelijk is er dus wel. Kortom: het was echt een top vakantie en we zullen zeker proberen om nog een keer naar deze plek af te reizen!!!Fam. Krijtenburg, Soesterberg
