Our hosts were not present but sent very detailed information for self-check-in. Excellent communications. Quiet gated residential location: 10 mins walk downhill into Verszilles town & another 10 mins. to the Palace for sightseeing. Parking space on site. Cozy room with pleasant decor + terrace with views over tall trees in mature gardens. Small but practical en-suite shower room and compact kitchenette. Very comfortable bed. Stylish decor. In fact everything needed for a most enjoyable weekend in Versailles.
The pull uphill when walking back up to the house was a surprise...after a long day walking around the sights. A small disappointment was the shower not draining very well. Could easily be fixed with a little maintenance... Also would have been nice if the outside terrace furniture had been wiped (pollen, dust, bird droppings) prior to our arrival.

Property is very compact but sufficient for a short stay and has everything you need. It’s in a wonderfully quiet location close to the centre of Versailles and the palace.
Just a bit compact if you needed a longer stay but still great.
