You stay on the ground floor of a large villa. The rooms are cool and there is a nice veranda overlooking the garden. And it is quiet at night.
It is positioned in the quieter part of Marina Romea, close the the “Pialassa”, the salt water lake that lies just inland - a beautiful nature reserve with lots of migratory birds.
The owners are very hospitable and offered us the use of four bikes - which are the best way to get around.
Marina Romea itself is a great combination of beach and countryside, and especially good if you like peace and quiet.
Would definitely recommend it.
It accommodates four people comfortably; but two have to sleep in the living room, which may not suit everyone.
