This is now our destination for overnight layovers when changing planes at CDG. We've stayed twice and each time, if the room wasn't booked the night before, Caroline has allowed us in to our room early. That generosity alone would have earned my loyalty! But also the beds are comfy, rooms are clean and nicely decorated, breakfast is fresh with wonderful pastries from the nearby boulangerie. There's a free bus to get around town that stops right nearby and the bus to/from CDG is a steal at 2 Euro pp. The village is lovely, with good restaurants and shops.
We travel light but 2 flights of circular stairs can be taxing with much luggage. Wish they had 2 comfy chairs in each room instead of just one.

We had two apartments on the top floor, both of them were so nice and roomy and had really comfortable beds. We had breakfast included which was served downstairs at the restaurant. It was everything we wished for.
On the day we arrived, we had lunch in the restaurant - we all had the tartare, and it was perfect. We also had dinner in the restaurant in the evening. We had the white fish and our two teenagers had veal or beef steaks. Everything was amazing like all of the city. Only thing to wish for was more days to spend there!
As Danes we are not accustomed to the double duvets, which are not commonly used, so it takes some time getting used to.
