Trinity Hill Apartments

Loved my little apartment no.3 with its own entrance and it gave me a good walk each day down to the foreshore.

Think there was a kid in the apartment above and it was kinda loud when they ran.

Good location, roomy, fairly comfortable. Nice bathroom

Old furniture, microwave over 1.5 metres above the floor, very dangerous! Broken blinds, shower over bath but no hand holds.

We spent 3 nights in April. This is very quiet premise with a fully equipped kitchen so we would enjoy cooking just like at home. The master bedroom is very spacious and comfortable. High recommended for any group with 3 person! The bathroom is exceptionally clean and renovated! We really enjoyed the stay there!

It was a small self contained apartment, so offered more space and facilities than a hotel room. It wasn’t in a central location, but nothing is particularly far in Hobart and you could walk to either North Hobart in 15 minutes or the CBD in 15 minutes. It was ground floor with its own additional separate entrance.

The apartment is one of five in a property originally built in the 1800s. The front door of apartment 3 opens on to the bottom of the stairs to the apartments above. The wall/door is thin and you can hear all traffic and conversation in the foyer/up the stairs, and presumably they can hear everything from within the apartment. The separate entrance is a frosted glass door which opens into the bedroom. When the sun comes up the bedroom becomes light, so not good for people bothered by light. There is a parking spot marked for unit 3, but the information booklet inside the apartment said not to use it as it is reserved for a long term tenant? All the other parking spots are marked for the other apartments. That was confusing. I just used it. After paying for the rental of the apartment a significant amount was added for the cleaning of the apartment. I totally get the need for cleaning and for a charge, but I like to know all costs up front. It appeared to be a hidden cost. When I wrote to the owners about it they sympathised but took no responsibility and just referred me to booking.com. The day before the rental came to an end I received a message which said amongst other things that I would not be required to wash the linen??!! It seemed gratuitous given the cleaning charge!
