The location was amazing, right in the heat of the city.
The room was basic and the cost was far to high for the space available.
There was signs of water damage in the space and the "coffee making facilities" was just a kettle and plastic cup with no extension cord so the kettle had to be placed under the bed to boil.

Location is unbeatable. Directly in the centre of the Venice you picture when you think of it. My room had a window that looked out upon a canal. For the price, you can not ask for a better base.
Facilities were very basic. My bed was two single beds pushed together. Check-in was done over WhatsApp and I did not see a member of staff my entire stay. The walls were obviously moisture damaged. Being next to the canal is in theory wonderful but in practise you’re woken early by boat engines powering past you similar to if your room opened onto a main road.
