We loved the location and the space was perfect for our family of 5. Check in was easy. Host arranged transfers for us. However, despite the nice photos and clean towels, the place could use some TLC, lots of little broken things like hinges on cupboards, the arm of the couch, electrical outlets, fridge freezer was a solid block of ice that hadn't been defrosted for years and we couldn't even make ice cubes to take in water bottles. Double bed in the loft was made up with a twin sized sheet which wouldn't stay on. Kitchen was stocked ok, but could use a proper set of pans. Would be good if a set of instructions or notes was also left about appliances, garbage etc.
The location really is great though, double windows block out the noise. I imagine it could get hot in the loft but we had no troubles with that.

Our family of five stayed here for 4 nights at the start of our Italian adventure. The apartment was right at the Campo de Fiori and fairly central to many Roman sites. It was also close to the Trastevere neighbourhood where we ate several times.
We appreciated the amenities of the apartment including a good sized fridge and mocha pots which we used daily.
At night the outdoor market area transforms into an entertainment district which can be loud with music.
We would stay here again!

Amazing location. Good communication around arrival. Cool old building, but weirdly all steps. The upper loft is very easy even for short people to hit heads. Felt like if needed maintenance— a bunch of the outlets and appliances didn’t work or had issues.
