Location was perfect, near to anything you would need to visit in Tarquinia. Also the Necropoli was just 20 minutes walk from the apartment.
The place was very clean and had every facility you need, also in the kitchen. Our stay was very brief, so we could not even test the kitchen for breakfast, but everything seemed to be at the right place and in working order.
Architecture of the place is very nice and cosy. We really liked it.
Heating works very fine. We booked with very little advance (1 hour or even less). When we arrived the apartment was already at the right temperature.
The shower was very good and I am very picky about showers.
Beware of the parking rules. The host gives precise information about it. Follow their advice! Otherwise, pain (12 € fine to be paid in coins) is assured.
Not a problem for us, but the apartment is full of steps, to reach any place.
Even entering it requires to go down a few steps. But then you do not go anywhere without steps, be it the bathroom or the kitchen.
So be advised if you have mobility issues.
I may remember wrongly, but your only source of natural light will be the entrance door. Not a problem for us, but for some it may be.

Appartamento molto accogliente, ben arredato e dotato di ogni comfort. Posizione ottima e proprietaria estremamente gentile e disponibile. Nei giorni del soggiorno si sono verificati problemi temporanei sulla rete locale, ma la proprietaria ha prontamente fornito una saponetta Wi-Fi che ha risolto il problema. Consiglio vivamente questo alloggio.

The appartment is big enough to outwait a rainy day - it has everything to cook or work inside.
bad luck to find the watercloset and the shower basin dirty - not very appealing to find remnant hair of other guests; at first I thought the cleaning lady had a bad day, on closer inspection the cleaning simply needs to be more thorough (check f.i. space between shower doors and basin, or calcaire deposits...).
If you choose this place be aware it practically does not have any daylight (this is true for a lot of places in Tarquinia) all in all: I do not know how this place got a rating of 9.4 - sorry!
