the location was ideal for our needs as we were catching an early ferry the next day
The kitchen was closed. The staff were helpful but were not present on the premises

Nice place close to the centre of Hartsadt, a few minutes walk from the ferry as well. Comfy beds, clean, small fridge in the room, big bathroom. There's a "dining area" which I suppose is a common area for guests but it was super empty when we stayed there so we didn't use it.
No kitchen tap water accessible and machine that was supposed to provide water was out of order or switched off. No possibility to leave your luggage before checkin time, we went there earlier and had to go back with the suitcase to the harbour waiting room where they kept it. Nobody at the reception most of the time, not that we needed any assistance but if we did there was nobody there to help, reception only opened for checkin of new guests.

The man at the reception was very helpful and friendly: he carried our luggage upstairs and gave us information about things to do in Harstad (a festival). There is a sitting/kitchen area near the reception so that you can eat something simple there : you make use plates/ cutlery/ water kettle/glasses. Free instant coffee is available. In your room and in the kitchen there is a small fridge to store things. Free parking. Easy access to both the building and the room with the key card.
The top mattress on the single bed is larger than the real mattress.
