We arrived very late due to our luggage being lost in transfer. The desk clerk was waiting for us when we arrived at 4h30 in the morning, very nice and welcoming. The hotel is good, simple, nice breakfast and with a central location close to Omonia Square.
Nothing! There are a few beggars in the street, but they don't interfere with tourists.

The bathroom was very clean, and the man at the reception was friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, the room was of quite a low quality and with strange smell due to limited air circulation. The floor in the bathroom was swollen from water. The room was not a quite space to rest at all — you could hear everything through the window and even through the walls. There’s also a church nearby whose bells start ringing at 7 a.m. and go off every hour after that, which makes it hard to sleep in. Another issue was the constantly glowing emergency exit light in the room, which made it difficult to get proper darkness at night. The breakfast was very very basic and far from healthy fresh ingredients…Already at 9:15 am everything was cold…far from tasty.
The most unsettling however was the area around the hotel which didn’t feel safe. Just about 200 meters from the hotel, we saw people openly using drugs and selling drugs, which was quite unsettling…to say the least.
