We had a room for 3 people that was huge, well equipped, with a balcony overlooking the church and a bit of the lake. We absolutely loved the fresh design, colours, materials. There is a lift just as you step in from the street which my elderly parents appreciated a lot. Breakfast room and bar are cozy with nice comfy corners and seating. Breakfast was standard, nothing outstanding, but more than adequate for the price.
You can park outside the hotel to offload your luggage, but longer or overnight parking is not possible. Public garages are affordable enough, but at the end of the main street, so a little walk away.
The breakfast lady seemed little interested in her job, I cannot say that she was unfriendly cause that would have required some expression of emotion. Tht was literally the only fly in our ointment during an orherwise perfect stay. Will definitely come back!

It was bright, cheerful and had the old German charm all at the same time.
I didn’t like the automated check in process. After waiting for the proper time to check in, the system ended up not working and we had to check in with the staff anyway.

Location was great, room was very clean, breakfast buffet was good and bed was very comfortable. Loved the modern décor and the Black Horse theme.
Did not care for the self-checkin at an electronic box at entrance door (ground floor vestibule). We entered information but no key came out. Went to 1st floor and had to look for someone to talk to. Found someone who told me to go back down and check in. Went back down, completed check-in and no key was dispensed. Went back to bar where the same person issued my key. The process seemed unnecessarily inconvenient for a hotel, but ultimately it all worked out. Another day, around 5:15PM, I asked for a glass of wine to take to my room and was told bar would not open until 6PM. Not a big deal, but unexpected at a hotel. Maybe it's a local law.

location and breakfast are good.
The wardrobe in the room is a 6 doors metal cabinets very huge it make the room spacless. I feel like I'm stay in a hostel or staff room.
