Bordering the Black Mountains and Brecon National Park, the house was a wonderful base from which to explore the area, and go on lots of hikes and adventures. The breakfast options were varied, and Janet and David were attentive hosts who were very willing to share their local knowledge. The garden looked lovely, however it was far too cold to take advantage of it. The room was private and comfortable, and the bathroom was fully stocked.

We had a lovely weekend stay while exploring Hay-on-Wye and Brecon. Janet and David were absolutely wonderful - they were kind and accommodating hosts and looked after our needs, and we greatly enjoyed the tea, bikkies and breakfast and chats we had with Janet and David. Truly a home away from home, and we look forward to staying again!
