We had a wonderful weekend stay at The Queens in Ludlow, Shropshire. From the moment we arrived, the welcome from the staff was exceptional and we were shown to our beautiful courtyard apartment beside the beer garden.
The apartment was spotless, bright, and extremely well equipped with everything we needed, including tea and coffee facilities, fresh milk, biscuits, toiletries, and even makeup remover pads. The bed was incredibly comfortable with crisp cotton sheets, and we slept so well.
The beer garden was beautifully maintained with lovely hanging baskets and pots, making it feel so homely. Jayne the landlady was so friendly and took time to chat with us, which made our stay even more special.
We also enjoyed an evening meal at The Queens and it was absolutely delicious, hot, freshly prepared, and one of the best meals we’ve had. Huge compliments to Jayne and Tim for their hospitality and amazing food.
On departure we never felt rushed, and Jayne kindly wished us a safe journey home. We had such a lovely time visiting one of our favourite towns, Ludlow. One of the best places we’ve stayed and we would highly recommend it.
