Marian Cottage

Absolutely loved the cottage from the moment we opened the front door. It was beautifully and thoughtfully set out. There was everything provided that we needed and much more; the kitchen was amazingly stocked up with all you could need and the main living area had lots of games, books etc, for all ages to use. We didn't use the log fired heater or the TV as we were out and about for most of the day but, had the weather been less favourable, I'm sure they would have been very useful. The bedrooms were equally delightful and the beds were so comfortable. The rooms throughout the house are beautifully decorated. Loved the location as there was so much to do near by or a short drive away. The hosts had a very full folder of some of the many places to visit and explore nearby which would be very useful if you are not familiar with the area. We wish we could have stayed a lot longer.

They was nothing we really didn't like at all. Things may not have been exactly as we have at home but we soon adapted. Nothing spoiled our enjoyment of this beautiful cottage. And we would certainly like to return sometime.

Great location for walking.

The cottage was very warm and cozy. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. The beds were comfortable and the toilet and bathroom were very clean. The shower provided great showers for 4 tired bodies after days of walking. Being in the village made it easy to shop and visit the pubs and restaurants.

It was far too hot re Aga and only 1 toilet which was downstairs. My bed was very uncomfortable.
