We had an excellent stay. The Victorian house is truly exceptional and we had the beautiful oak room. The breakfast is very good and they were able to accommodate our vegetarian request. The hosts are extremely friendly and we had a few nice conversations.

This place is amazing. Hosts are amazing. In fact our stay here was so amazing, you don’t really want everyone to know about it. Almost like it’s too good to be true. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it.

We had visited Hall as an historic house on a previous occasion so were delighted to find that it was possible to stay there. It completely exceeded our expectations in every respect. Our hosts were wonderfully friendly and welcoming and the rooms were beautifully furnished in keeping with the period of the building. Extraordinarily comfortable beds and a very good breakfast. The Devonshire countryside, the magnificent views from the house and early morning walks on the estate all made for a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxed stay. We really felt that we were guests staying at a country house - as indeed we were! We will certainly come again.

Not easy to find, but well worth the effort. An absolute gem of an unusual building with excellent hosts.
