The room was like a small apartment with the bonus being a view over the lake
I don't recall the advises received before we arrived telling us the check in was in the restaurant below, and we ended up working that out ourselves when we couldn't get in on arrival

This was a lovely, charming room in an excellent location with a view of the lake. The staff were extremely friendly, albeit not always readily available as they work in the restaurant as well. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the lake was a delight.
The only downside was that the mattress was not comfortable - there was a pronounced dip on the one side of the bed. Note that carrying one’s luggage up to the hotel can be a little challenging.
