The location of the property is top notch with spectacular views! The deck was perfect for watching the sunset.

The stairs up to the apartment are daunting with luggage, but we knew about it prior to our stay.

We stayed in the luxury apartment-Penthouse-Seaview Terrace and enjoyed it. The host provides you with all the information needed via what’s app. Do not complain about the steps since the town is on the side of cliffs. You will climb some steps and if you have done your research, you realize Riomaggiore is all steps. I recommend not bringing a suitcase. You will carry the suitcase. There are no elevators on this property. The Seaview from the room was worth the price. From check-in to check-out, the process was easy. Your room gets cleaned every day with fresh linen. This place received some bad reviews on google and Booking.com however, we did not experience anything negative except our coffee maker did not work. We just went to a local restaurant and got coffee. Not the end of the world. All the bad reviews were about steps, cold water, poor host response, and location. None of these issues happened to us. I would rebook this location.

Coffee maker didn't work. That's it. The host was notified, host responded with trouble-shooting ideas. The electric plug did not work.

The apartment was really dirty and in desperate need of renovation. The walls were cracked and no longer white. In some areas, the paint was peeling off. The doors and raling of the stairs going to the 2nd bedroom, once painted white, were disgusting. One of the shower walls was covered in mould. I also found hair in the bathroom from the previous guests. One of the main lights in the living area was not working. The furniture was covered in dust. The apartment was on the 4th floor, and the stairs were very steep and narrow. Which wouldn't have been a problem if there were lights all the way up. On the second floor was pitch dark. Taking the luggage up and down the stairs was a real challenge. When I complained to the owner about all these and told her that I would also inform Booking, I was accused of threatening her and being poorly educated.
