Best breakfast ever! The historic Abbey was just the kind of thing I love.
My room was the lowest price and as such simpler. I was disappointed that the wifi didn’t work in the room.

This is the second time we have been there, and it didn't disappoint.
The guest house is out in the countryside, so it gives you a chance to experience a different and tranquil environment to that in England.
The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and they provide you with a bottle of water, towels, hair and body shampoo, and a hairdryer.
Breakfast is provided in a restaurant at a different location, so you have 200-300 yard walk to get there, which is pleasant on a sunny day.
Breakfast is amazing. You can have boiled, scrambled or fried egg, the latter two with bacon. Then there are cold meats, cheeses, tomatoes with mozzarella cheeses, salmon, a melon and grape cocktail, a liquid yoghurt type drink, as well as fruit juice, coffee and different forms of bread buns. I am Coeliac, so they provided me with 3 different types of bread and sweet slices of cake. Nearly forgot, 3 small white, milk and dark chocolates with a cream filling and also marble cake.
The staff are very helpful, friendly and obliging.

- Beautiful & peaceful location
- Good breakfast
- Even the building is located next to the church but no bell ring during the night
- No staff. No information for check in & how to get breakfast even I asked to send the details in advance. I have to take a look by myself in other guest comments and we are lucky to met another guest when we arrived so they told us where to get the key.
- The mattress and pillows is not suitable for people with allergies
