The host was wonderful. He had a lot of patience and answered all our questions about the city. He allowed us to leave the car in the garage the next day until it was time for the next guests to arhive which enabled us to see more of Ghent. It is well worth seeing. The accomodation was well designed, warm and clean. The sheets were white and ironed. The kitchen has everything you may need. The bathroom is modern and the shower was powerful. There is a courtyard with a seating area but we didn’t use it as it was still early in the year. We loved seeing hosts’s extensive LEGO collection and some of his own designs. The accomodation is only few stops away from the centre of town and public transport is easy to use. We will be back

We found this a great place to stay. The owners, Gina and Prudent, met us on arrival, couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful and explained everything we needed to know. They'd also been very responsive responding to any queries we'd had at the time of booking and prior to arrival. We were in the two bedroom apartment which was secure, spacious, comfortable, clean and warm. Comfortable beds, large/hot shower, secure garage parking, well equipped kitchen, beer and water in the fridge, even a Christmas tree! The apartment is located in a quiet neighbourhood less than 10 minutes' drive from the motorway. It's about a 30 minute walk to the centre of Ghent or the no.10 bus (de lijn bus app is useful) goes from the bottom of the street which takes you direct to the heart of the city. There's a supermarket at the bottom of the street for provisions. Thanks to Gina and Prudent for providing a perfect base for our weekend.
